The somaliland flag is good enough. Maybe we can tweak it by changing the colors of the flag but we should keep the black star and shahadah. The black star gonna remind us of our past and what we left behind on our search for a better tomorrow. The shahadah to illustrate and show our love and obedience to Allah SWT and his messenger who’ve gifted us with many blessings.

I think we should hold a Flag referendum so that the people can decide what flag could best represent our people.

Imho, a modified version of the Old Darwiish Flag should be made the new national flag, since it will symbolise the fighting & nationalistic spirit of our people.

We could possibly replace the central red square box with the Shahada written in gold or something else etc.
