Modern-day Somalis brought up in the West act like they are mixed race when they are mono-ethnic. You get a different answer about their identity depending on who you ask.

I feel sorry for those that are half Somali. Not because they are mixed but because they have to deal with double identity issues. Depending on how they look, they will get a different experience. If they are cadaan passing, no one will believe who their parent is, especially if the parent is darker; if intermediate, people will assume they are non-African or non-Somali; and if Somali leaning, they can blend in.

Really goes to show that high rates of interracial marriages is what eliminates diversity. Imagine if the majority mixed with cadaans, in a few generations America will be a fully white country with all of it’s citizens being either white or white passing. That’s the opposite of diversity. Contrary to popular belief, mono-racial pairings is what preserves the Heterogeneity of mankind. It’s no wonder why white colonialists in Australia and the Americas encouraged IR unions to decrease native populations.
