How does the political system in Ogadenia differ from Somalia?

Unserious Human.
Who elects who is their system better than ours?

Also is there any emphasis on xeer in the region or is everything dealt with via regional courts.

They don’t have a political system, a leader is appointed from Addis. The funds from the region are stolen by a sub clan called reer abdille and a couple people from every tribe are given a house to stay in a land cruiser and unlimited khat.

I could agree with you but then we’d both be wrong

Their system of governance resembles like other Ethiopian Federal Member State systems. They have a Parliament, ministries and President elected by the Parliament. But in Ethiopia, Addis backed candidates get elected as president. Ethiopia is synonymous with repressive governments that's why they're currently waging a devastating war on Tigray.

Nice analysis from awbarkhadle.

@Zenith @Halimo Supremist I think we have a first-past-the-post system for electing K5 MPs. No clan federalism but the K5 president is chosen from AddisAbaba and then the K5 local parliament formally "selects" the candidate chosen by Xabashistan.

Also lots of Soomali in Hararga region are part of Oromiland state and they have the same system
