How do you fast when you’re building muscles

I need food to fuel my body through out the day. Fasting seems counterproductive, how will I make sure I hit my protein goal if I’m just starving most of the day💀💀 I am about to lose so much lean muscle mass that I’ve built if I start fasting . Seems like this Ramadan won’t work out.

Keep track of the proteins you’re consuming on MyFitnessPal. You’re guaranteed to gain muscle mass during Ramadan if you watch how much you’re eating

I pretty much do keto during Ramadan, just stay away from carbs and eat high protein and fat and you're good.

I lose about 10kg of mostly fat and water weight during Ramadan, if you're not careful it will come back within a few months.

what is your protein goal? I just eat and do random excercises till my muscles are sore lol but this thread will help me
I primarily do high-intensity exercises for my cardio for about 30 minutes focusing on the treadmill and rowing machine, so very intense bursts of activity and then a 30-second rest period.

I primarily focus on increasing my core strength and want functional strength I gain muscle mass pretty quick but also fat so need to keep my diet on point, primarily do a lot of TRX and strongman workouts, I'm trying to go back to what I had before after my long absence from the gym.

I barely lose muscle during Ramadan, I just get get weaker with my lifts at the gym, which makes sense. Stick with your daily protein goal and divide it into two meals. One of them for me is usually 400 grams of chopped chicken breast, which is around 80 grams of protein, super easy to consume with some sambuus and rice on the side, the other meal is oatmeal pancakes consisting of 4 eggs and on the side a protein shake, with usually 2 to 3 scoops of whey protein, a banana, a avocado and couple dates. And drink a lot of water in between.

You actually stimulate more growth hormone when you fast, and it kills off bad cells, even dormant potential cancerous ones, so fasting so intensively once a year resets your entire system. A lot of non-Muslims have started doing it as well, but they call it intermittent fasting.

I do intermittent and OMAD for some periods of the year, which makes Ramadan not a big issue since I can't eat anything before dawn, I usually drink 2 litres of water and have a shake, I haven't tried avocado before in a shake, what sort of consistency do you get?

If you put an Avocado in the fridge for a couple a hours, you’ll get a shake that is cold, thick and creamy like a McDonald’s milkshake.

Butt chugg all your protein shake. Did you know that your stomach doesn't absorb any nutrients from any food you consume, but rather it's your intestines that absorb all the nutrients from all the food you'd consume. Than technically you didn't eat an food also due to having a empty stomach.

You don't, you jsut try to maintain the level of muscle you have by eating enough protein at after fasting.
