How come Soomaalida don't weep over civil war

500,000 up to 1 million of our people have died during the Somali civil war and have never seen Somalis shed a tear for the millions of our dead brothers and sisters
but would shed a tear for a stinking shisheeye in some random country. These brothers in the picture could have been fathers.doctors,teachers,engineers or scientist if the evil of qabiil didn't destroy of our people this image make me weep as a Somali man.

Not sure about numbers but guessing majority where indirect deaths from starvation, lack of government, hospitals etc.. never seen a successful rebellion in my lifetime Libya Syria Yemen even Iraqis probably miss Hussein

everything leading up to 91 was an amalgamation of many complex societal ills. I think many people want to have reconciliation and heal past this. The issue is we look at everything in black and white
