There are many countries like Turkey that are 100% Muslim but that doesn't mean the society should be such a religious fanatic. In case of Somalia, less qabiilsm and less religiosity is not even an option but a MUST for progress.

If your talking society that's different then. Believe me nobody likes terror groups.

Yeah there's no problem with less clan. But the religion will be treated with respect.

But the society can work very productively.

I think you're correct on the fact that the vast majority have a belief in Islam that unwavering but poverty, lack of access to other forms of information and the severe social sanctions for not being a muslim all contribute to over-stating the seize of Somali muslims.

In fact many could be better described as deist with islamic leaning, as they fall short of the requirements or perhaps subscribe to more vague interpretation of Islam that differs greatly enough to be a distinct belief in God with islamic sourcing.

Furthermore many are what we call "atheistic muslims" meaning people who out of fear or comfort comply with religious commands in public but hold no such belief.

Therefore to categorize all as sincere believers of the Islamic faith is simply naivety.

Kkk the lack of access your talking about is one sided because we know the West only helps people that oblige by them. It's either their way or the highway according to those gaals.

Somalis have pride of their deen. They wouldn't trade their deen away for not having access to anything they need. And that's only a dhaqan gaals have.That's guunimo. @Steamdevolopment

I didn't grow up with my real dad.

So you haven't studied and read hadiths or meanings from the Quran? Well I think you should go to a near by Dugsi fam and a have a chat with the local Sheikhs and ask them questions about Islam.

Then probably they can tell you some things you didn't understand.
