First things first. Try make every single word you say to your parents be in Somali.
You could also tell your parents you want to go Somalia... you’ll become a pro in less than a month. Granted you talk to people and don’t be a shy fucker

Hadi ku hadasho Af-Somaali marka la hadlayso hoyaadad ama abaahad wu baranaysa.
Not gonna lie it's a struggle for me too sis, just try to converse with your parents and elders.
From personal experience with going to Somalia I'll be honest and say it didn't help learn a lick of Somali.
And I want twice so maybe I am a dumbass or my current Somali is so horrendous that I can only understand 30% of what people say (and that's mostly from the key words) and I cannot improve it.
Frankly, at this point I've pretty much given up but at least my other siblings are as bad a me.
