I used to buy from Amazon a lot when I had access to it. I felt bad getting a <£5 item delivered only to make another small order later that week.

The fact of the matter is, small businesses just suck. Food aside, they just can't compete with large multinationals. They f*ck you on prices and that's only IF they have what you want.

Not to mention that Amazon's customer service is completely unmatched (and often at the expensive of small businesses selling on Amazon).

No chance. The #MeToo stuff only works on celebrities and politicians because there is a sheer abundance. Amazon can't be touched. Same chick blogging over the allegations is still going to leave her prime running and continue ordering from there because there literally is no real competition for Amazon.

Digital monopoly tax. Cut their margins so they can't compete on price.

It won't affect consumers since Amazon will still be cheaper but at least now they won't have the profits to push others out the market.

Amazon is almost always cheaper than brick and mortar retail stores.

I buy a lot from Amazon nowadays and only when I can't find something on there or if I want to see it in real life do I go to brick and mortar stores.
