I saw someone in another thread that @malab got taken down say that Tigrayans are the Jews of Ethiopia (which is funny since there are actual Jews)

Made me think, what HOA ethnicities have their equivalents on other continents?

I had no idea the Targaryens were Jews? Their claim to Israel is as fictional as the Game of Thrones

Tigrayans aren’t Jews but Beta Israel Ethiopians are. Most of them moved to Israel tho

I thought this was a myth; isn' their genetic profile consistent with them being Horn Africans that adopted Judaism?

I mean, pre-Orthodoxy, most Highlanders in Ethiopia/Eritrea were practicing some weird form of Judaism/Derivative of Judaism.

It most likely has something to do with Yemeni Jews
