They are now in a bitter dispute with Wordremit. Hurmood charges 5% on all transactions and when Worldremit lowered it's rate , they threatened to ban them from South Somalia market altogether. The original contract between Hormuud and Worldremit is still biding. Its worth noting that PAYSII which is owned by the son of Hormuud owner is in direction competition with worldremit
