Shimbir used the same route used by Bakaal Kooke, Canjeex, Mucalimo to reach Garbahareey. Shimbir is Reer Siyaad native to Garbahareey so he knows the land very well. AS does not control every rock and tree that exists between the towns. If you know the land very well you can outmaneuver AS controlled villages to reach your destination but that would mean a longer route with no stoppage.
