Man those Indians are tough! It's such a shame they became nodding house slaves for the British. Surprised that it was the Mughal Empire that came closest to conquering the entire sub-continent pre-colonial era.
This is also an interesting video about the Turks. They are some of the best warriors in the world. Some things are a bit exaggerated like them controlling Harar.

Tbh, India is not so a nation as an entire mini-continent. It's fucking huge. It would be like if Somalia, Djibouti, Northern Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Sudan were one country. It has so many ethnic groups, languages and religions. They couldn't possibly be united until modern times.

True, but it would have been interesting to see how East Africa would have turned out, if we were been exposed to greater civilisations like they were.

If I remember correctly, Harar was a vassal state of the Ottomans at one point.
