Hirshabelle cabinet approves the creation of 6 new districts

Power in Hirshabelle is sourced from the number of districts you have. I spoke about these new districts being recognised a while back but the Xawaadle users didn’t believe me. As of last week Hirshabelle now has 19 districts, these are split:

Of these 19 Mudulood hold 8. Jowhar town (and most of the districts land mass) is owned and run by Harti and Galmaax. Shiidle Madow outnumber us in the district overall tho. As a result they hold the district and Mudulood hold mayor of Jowhar town. This is similar to how Gaaljecel hold Gudomiye for Beledweyne district while Xawaadle are town mayor.

Xawaadley Gudomiye I’m assuming will switch between Mudulood and Shiidle as both Moobleen and Celi Cumar make up as much of the town and district as Shiidle does.

Gugundhabe come second after Mudulood holding 6 districts including the capital, Beledweyne and the third largest city, Buuloburte.

Xawaadle and beesha Jareérweyne are tied for third place with 2 districts each.

Additionally;


These new districts would be given to;

Additional 3 for Harti abgaal (7 in total)
Additional 1 for Gaaljecel (4 in total)
Additional 1 for Xawaadle (3 in total)
Additional 1 for Habargidir (2 in total)

And 2 new districts for Ciise Mudulood. This would give Mudulood 13 out of the 27 districts

By districts do you mean cities ?

@johnsepei5 they don't follow a district standard law like PL. A-B-C is our standard. A district needs to have a local govt-market-electricity-secondary/primary, hospital, water grid plus a geographic area with villages reporting to it. These guys name what we call villages >>> Districts. Ha uu bixin. If PL followed HS standard, their would be 1000 districts.

Hirshabelle is dense kulaha, it's larger then puntland lol then why u so poor and 90% depend on budget support, where is your revenues all fake paper right but the world says if they pull out u have not 1 cent.

War PL is larger then Hamar/HS/GM combined, 90% of our ppl are on camels not settled and dominate our GDP. HS/Hamar is 90% un-armed minority not hawiye. Our election turn out, lol 2 weeks for 400k, u try get 400k in 2 weeks and dont count Rahanwayn n Minority. 400k is high start for local elections, djibouti presidential election was 180k and local election 40k. SL local election was 500k even after 4 election cycles, it started with 100k

PL will be 2 million turn out when presidential elections happens and registeration will be 3 months. I see u compare yourself to us, so who is landheere? we dont compare ourselves to u, we know ur minority in hamar

Moqokori, Buqdaaqable and Buurweyn districts were all carved out of Buuloburte district. Masjid Cali gaduud district was carved out of Cadale district, Raage ceele district was carved out of Warsheik district and Xawaadley district was carved out of Balcad district

Ofcourse we have quotas that must be met before obtaining district status.

Ceelbaraf district is a prime example of this. Ceelbaraf is a fairly large town in Afarta tuulo, an extremely densely populated region in S.dhexe. This is a map showing the town and its surrounding Tuulos

Although Ceelbaraf has all it needs to be recognised as a district, it still hasn’t been recognised. Watch this short informative video of reer Ceelbaraf advocating for the recognition of their fully functioning district and why the creation of new districts in HS is needed

Congrats, HS has always been low on districts. It needs a lot more to stabilise the state and improve security. Benefit of districts for security is you’ll get a local mayor, NISA, police and SNA for each district which is very much needed.
