Elements of paganism made their way into polytheistic religions, which in turn also left their residue in monotheistic religions. It isn't that surprising that in ancient thought, people would worship fertility gods in the form of genitalia statues/idols and paraphernalia

Have you guys ever heard of wiccans, its a religion which is based upon sex. In the abrahamic religions , sex is seen as an activity two married couples indulge in. Most people don't think of their Gods or God as having sex. Gods sex life in non-existent. .
