The men are definitely taller than average. Obviously people back home are shorter because of the lack of nutrition in their diet. But the only somalis that I have seen that are consistently short are barawas. With the women it’s 50/50 some are short some are tall.

In my family it’s crazy. My dad’s side is short and my mums side is a bit taller I’ve got 6”+ cousins on that side

Im 6’1 but my brothers are either 6ft to 6’4. My grandmas are tall alx so im blessed. My tallest relative is my cousin whos 6’7 and my local cousins back home are all 5’11+, but if they were raised in the west im sure they would have been pushing nba players heights

I am 6’1 which use to be a respectable height but compared to the YN Somalis I run into these guys are 6’4 6’5 etc.

Also being 6+ especially around the cusp where I am ain’t what it use to be. I swear to god I had a persian nigga look me in the eye and tell me he’s 6 when he’s 5’9.

Height inflation is real.

That’s rare Mexicans are 5’7 max. I’ve been to southern states multiple times. Never seen a tall ass filipino or mexican.

Hell even a lot of west africans tend to be on the shorter side.
