We need dams to control the flood, also it collects rains for watering purpose.

So much rain wasted into the ocean every year. Even the togdheer river in SL drains into the ocean every rainy season when we could dam it and turn it into a permanent river.

@AarHawd_7 what do you think bro? Shouldn't we Somalis have our own rivers? Even the tributaries in the Ogaden region can be built upon if we get galbeed to secede. There are many tributaries for rivers located in Somali lands but our ppl are way behind to even build dams like the Ethiopians are doing now.
