There is an English-language school in Gaalkacyo in which all the teachers are Kenyan.

If you ever meet the non-diaspora pupils, you would think you are speaking someone from Garissa.

Personally, I have nothing against the accent but since most English language teaching back home is done by Kenyans, this accent is becoming more and more prominent.
