Always pay attention to Somalis describing Somalia how it was back in the days

They always say :

Somalia had the strongest army in Africa

Somalia had the biggest sports stadium

Somalia had the proudest government

Somalia was very influential in Africa

Somalia was wealthy

Guys! All of the above is untrue

We had an army of 30k with ww2 weapons. We sneaked upon Ethiopia, in 1977, that was in chaos after a revolution.

We didn’t have the biggest or one of the biggest stadiums. What we had was a mediocre stadium build by gaajo China at the time

We were never proud, the government always was begging. Always asking for handouts. That is not proudness

We weren’t influential in Africa, we actually suffered from Napoleon syndrome

Somalia was never wealthy instead it was needy at all times
