Have you noticed somali men always wear caps or hats in meetings? why?

Have you noticed these somali men always wear caps or hats in meetings? This is a government official chairing a meeting and he is wearing a baseball cap.

What people do this in the world??

Don't they know it is unprofessional to do so and it makes them look stupid and dumb.

What foriegners must think when they see this. Could these people not sink any lower.

What are they trying to hide. They're receding hairline?

I have witnessed multiple times non Somalis asking the same question. One goes as far as wearing a winter trapper hat in 30+ degree summer weather. It's part of his look. They act like it's part of their style. Somalis who try to hide their balding is more hilarious than the fact they're balding.

Bidaar.

A lot of Somali men start balding at around 23.

Being bold is fine, just grow a strong beard and hit the gym.

It can be avoided if they stop eating inflammatory and unnatural diets, give up common shampoos and soaps, regularly massage their scalps, eat nutrient dense animal foods, avoid balwad and get enough sleep. I was beginning to bald around that age but now at 28 I still have a very dense scalp and a strong, youthful hairline I strongly suspect thanks to my overall routine. Everyone I know, of any ethnicity, around my age is noticeably losing in comparison.

I thought it was genetic along with high levels of testosterone. How preventable is it when sometimes it’s their great to their grandfather to their father?

The propensity to bald is seemingly genetic. Some men are more prone than others but the actual causes seem entirely environmental. Recent Hunter-Gatherers, if you pay attention, did not tend to bald, nor many recent pastoralists who ate strictly dairy and meat. Look up Somali nomads from the early 20th century and 19th century. You will see many men who in the face look at least 30 or above and yet not even the slightest threat of balding. I'd share some links but I gotta go now.

The only real solution to bidaar is hair transplant + minox/fin

Bidaar is normal if you have right head shape. If you have madax qumbo or burns from young due to fake somali doctor you will be self concious

Only Finasteride can stop it. My older brother and father both lost a lot of hair at my age but had the same hairline as me when younger. But my hairline hasn’t changed and is the exact same because i’ve been taking finasteride. I can keep this hairline for the rest of my life just taking 3x 1mg pills a week.

In America this is prescription drug. And need doctor to buy off on it. Hopefully not giving you side effect maybe monitor your hormone levels to be safe. With all drugs everyone should consult doctors. This drug is fairly low risk but consequences can be high especially for folks who have permanent sides weigh pros and cons carefully

been using it for 2 years no side effects

you have a 1 % chance to have side effects but it’s not permanent

Sxb I'm on finasteride. I have no problems with my hairline but my hair on top and in front is really thin. Do you know if I can do anything about it?
