Turkmenistan is also due to join. These states will some time in the future unite. Turkey is due to be a bonafied super power. Once they engineer their own engines without foreign parts which they’re not far from there isn’t a country that can engage them they will be on USA China Russia level.

The one thing turkey was missing was gas and oil it has everything else. I used to think they would annex northern Iraq in a time a need but it seems like they don’t even need to. They’ve already got a gas pipe line from azabijaan about to be built. Turkmenistan has the 4th largest gas reserves. Kazakhstan and the rest of them are full off oil and gas and minerals. The biggest fear of russia China and Iran is a Turkic State because they’ll have territorial claims in all there countries.

Why isn’t East Turkestan included?
They’re not officially a country they’re part of China by force. There are 5 countries officially part of the Turkic council and Turkmenistan is due to join in the future. Russia China and Iran will have serious territorial issues with a Turkic state.

Turkish identity is a weird one if you went to turkey you'll see some of them look like europeans, some of them like indoyar central asians and some like middle eastern. They claim their lineage all the way to atilla the hun,gökturks and even the krugans.
Turkeyweyne thing is linguistics more than anything there is no real turks left now

neo ottomanism is more interesting

Interesting is this going to be similiar to some sort of Arab league or are you saying they want to join and form one central state

That's because Turkish people mixed with Persians, Arabs, Greeks and others in their region. The
Ottoman empire was an Islamic empire which brought different ethnicities to socialize.

Turkey is already a mini World power with all the help they are giving to US and Europe
with the Corona Crises. They have proven that they can stand on their own.

Turkic Council is a Cultural Alliance, not a Political Alliance. Central Asians have very close
Alliance with Russia.

Right now it’s like the arab league but in the future they will unite. Russia has been pressuring the ex soviet state to stay away or get invaded like they did to Georgia but turkey is militarily dominant enough to defend them now so they’re getting more bold now.

they have this nationalism way of life in turkey even though genetically their back ground is different they call themselves turks. They even claim ottoman as a turkish empire and don't want to associate with arabs or islam in anyway. In a way it helped them get where they are today but at the cost of islam most turks 90% can barely read the quran or know jack about it. Movement were formed to return them to their islamic roots though so far these movements are not doing too bad.

They’re not there yet but not far. There first domestically make aircraft carrier is ready next year and they’re building a 5th generation fighter jet. The only problem they have is they can’t produce the engine entirely domestically yet but not far off then they will be a military super power. If they make the alliance with the Turkic nations the GDP of turkey will triple as they no longer will be energy importers but will be exporters.

I didnt think it would be so hard to make one of these engines

They're very underrated militarily, imo they'd walk all over France, only the UK is ahead of them in Europe. The recent battles in Northern Syria showed the world what was already known in military circles; their UAV and jamming technology is not far behind that of the US, forget Israel and Britain.

If they can secure themselves Patriot missiles then they're sorted. I was under the impression that they'd overplayed their hand in buying the rubbish Russian S400. But I was reading recently that they could give it's secrets to the US paving the way for them to get the much superior Patriot missiles.

It's building the industry behind those engines that takes decades to nurture.

Some African countries could probably reverse engineer those engines but manufacturing them at scale is a whole different ball game.

DNA analysis says they're not real Turks. Just 1000 years ago all of them were Greek speaking, orthodox Christian Romans. They have an identity crisis.

The people of Anatolia got conquered by a few Turks, indayaars from Northeast China and Mongolia.

True but they only really need to make a few dozen at most right.

p.s. african countries could barely reverse engineer a car let alone a jet engine.
