I’ve always wondered what prison was like, I know many times the prisoners would segregate by race so I’m sure any Somali going to prison here in the west would have to hang around other

however, in terms of somalis in prison, i wouldn’t say prisoners typically segregate on race
it’s just everyone attacking child molesters and the people who commit non-violent crimes typically are in more relaxed prisons

Somalis run the xabsi here so you shouldn’t have it too bad. If you feel like someone is disrespecting you or getting too comfortable, your gonna have to deal wit it quick before these xoolos take it for weakness. Don’t talk about your case cause other niggas looking for time reduction will sell you out with the quickness.

Prison not that I know of but I know some guys I went to school with who went to jail most of them in and out. One guy who was my neighbor was put away for a long time like 20 years or so.
These guys Walahi went on a different path.
They’ve been shot, stabbed etc in this life they chose. 
Alhamdulilah I joined soccer when I was in school. These guys used to ask me to hang out with them after school. I did few times but I wasn’t stupid. I’d hang around and dip because I didn’t stay stick around when they wanted to go do illegal stuff.
When I didn’t have soccer games or practices I’d just go to the community center to hoop and play video games. The community center was a good place to get away from the street life that some of my guys picked.
Alhamdulilah some of them have changed now and are married.
