At last their discussing the real issues facing our region thru open dialogue not 'bottling it up inside due to public image' which the south does(bal eeg gurigisa iyo waxay uu keentay) which is very unhealthy, plus it's great they realized it's 'systemic' not a person problem but a cultural problem, When there is a sickness, it must be surgically removed not hide it or it will get bigger and spread out.
I will say what Allah said 'he doesnt fix a society if they dont fix themselves first' He doesn't teach u to hide your issues due to public image and live in failure. U must be brave and strong to face it so we can forge a new path and be a greater role model 4 Somalia.

I am totally against PL boqortoyo politics, they don't want a 'real boqortoyo' becuz it's based on a 'family' unit and they will be isolated from power, but they have taken the birth-right system from the boqortoyo to allow only 'maxamud saleban' into power, which isn't even how the real boqortoyo operated.
If we want to be a democracy, their is no birth-right system allowed, all taxpayers and citizens are equal to run for power. I find it disheartening that we could be losing geniuses from other clans who could make puntland even greater becuz of our silly birth right system nonsense.
We r limiting our pool of talent to maxamud saleban, we are centralizing it even not diversifying it and building up all puntite clan so in the future if maxamud saleban declines at least we won't go extinct like happened to ajuuraan who did the same thing centralizing power to ajuuran bal arag manta where that 'putting all ur eggs in 1 basket' got them. If we had true political diversity, in the event maxamud salebaan declines, at least another clan in PL can carry the torch and allow us to rebuild ourselves.
No-one sees my wisdom but the lone maxamud saleban in 300 years looking back at 21st century history I hope he hears of my wisdom while his extinct and regretting no-one in my time period listened to my wisdom.

We also need a cultural revolution first not blaming leaders, becuz this is systemic problem not a 1 leader problem, it's every leader. If u support your bad person or leader, I will also support my bad leader or bad person, and this will lead to a shit-show result with no-one winning, but everyone losing.
The cultural revolution needs to start with the following. Create a model citizen model, use bantu-madhiban-minority clans as a template and demand all clans must strive to reach their productivity.
Secondly create a 'caste' called 'dambiile' for criminals/corruption, every clan must send their qashin there and refuse them marriage to your males/females, name/shame them on media-facebook so their socially isolated, refuse them in your mosques or clan social circles, refuse them work or scholarship opportunity, essentially what you want is they eventually become like 'm1dgan' status. This will then make him think 'carefully' if he wants to be corrupt or criminal because he will 'lose' a-lot more then what he gained.

Untill a cultural revolution happens, don't blame the leaders, blame the culture and society. They will do exactly what every other leader will do and be corrupt. He will only take care of his individual/family/clan interest and he won't care how much YOU CRY IN TV, becuz he knows if you come to power, you will do the same thing.
Let's Demand the Justice Department start collecting statistics in PL prisons and identify clans based on crimes and every clan knows where they stand and the clan with the least criminals usually(madhibans) we must ask them for advice on how we can 'raise' our kids with their wisdom so our clan-men become like them No CRIMINALS.

Puntites don't understand in 'xafiis' la xoojin kara thru sharci halka shaksiga 'weak' laga dhigi karo, they don't understand that 'paradigm' becuz the 'paradigm' they only understand is 'shaksiga' ayaa awood leh due to the boqortoyo and even post independence somalia. They don't get it but they need 'wacyigelin' xoog leh. U craft the system to be perfect and this automatically controls the 'leader' not the 'leader' controlling the system as we see now. This is safer as u don't need to worry who leads anymore, infact it becomes 'symbolic'

You are very honest these days. These past few months have showed PL has many of the shortcomings you accused us of only having.
In fact you have a worse class system with your MS domination over the rest of PL. there’s no such thing in the South
It's not just puntite with this 'dictatorship or boqortoyo' model of maxamud saleban. Bal aar sheeg niin aan reer diini ahayn from marehan talin kara? or reer abdulle from ogaden. Im not making excuses for it, its horrible system and unfit for democracy.

This comes with a downside as the boqor has less power over the clan tho and hence why we’re accused of being disunited but I believe that’s just a bunch of unlucky circumstances caused by the civil war, Islamists and the tfg vs Shabaab vs sufi where we were on all sides
