Halal VS. Organic

I had a debate with associate who is Muslim but from Asian country. She was saying that when it comes to halal meats, Muslims buy the cow or whatever animal from any one then they perform the halal ritual and that’s it. No history of the animal feed or health history. Is this true? There are some who have farm and raise the livestock but most just buy from gaalo.
I don’t eat much meat but the ones I would eat, I would prefer it be grass fed, no antibiotic free range.

The ritual needs to be done by a muslim. Its not a magical incantation that can be done by anybody else.

I’ve heard some places have automated slaughterhouses with microphone saying bismillah people love that money

its good question your raise . somali halal shops I go to never have labels on where meats from or if it’s organic or grass feed. Betting since community not asking they going for non organic stuff to keep prices low

we need to know where our food comes from. Just labeling it halal just doesn’t cut it. Where they given antibiotic riddles cow?
