I’m anlso interested in the Barsuug as the Arap claim them as lost Arap. It would to see some E-V22 from them. Also none of the E-V22 & E-M78 Arap have taken a Big_Y. Which is unfortunate

Btw there is an E-V1515 guy on FTDNA, he tested with Y-111only. He’s just predicted to be E-M35 but through Nevgen it predicts a sub of V1515. He put “Isaaq” as his personal name but I assume it’s his tribe. Interesting. I saw him on the Eri dna project

I’m the Yfull sample. The thread is very old now and only Isaaqs were BigY tested back then. I think the one have the lowest distance with is madhibaan on FTDNA but we don’t form any clade, he tested a lot later than the others. On Yfull it’s the Ciise, we form a clade but the TMRCA is the same I share with others Northern Dir/Isaaq.
idk about the guy on Reddit but I’ve seen some CM T on some friends’ matches. Not really surprising.
I’ve matched with E-L29, E-M75 Isaaqs and some with other more obscure clades.

on 23andme? I believe the majority of users on here use Dante for the big y. My father told me about Gadabuursi sub-sub clans getting assimilated into HA due to disputes between families, HA is known to assimilate so I wouldn't be surprised at the notion, it's either that or they absorbed some HY/HJ subs.
