The reason i said apologize is how u responded your post above. It was an admission of guilt. U said it is your word against hers. But according to your original post, what u said to her wasn't that offensive honestly. But what is offensive to u, it might not be to others. If someone is offended, the best route to apologize. If you learnt a lesson from this, well, i guess move on!
