Somalia's education system should teach other cushitic languages in the language curriculum. Arabic first, then perhaps you could choose between Oromo, afar or smth else. Exactly geโez has a long history behind at least it wouldnโt look like a larp script that would be invented in the current year.

Poland is catholic and feels close to Central western Europe so it adopts the Latin script used there.
Whereas the other Slavs are orthodox and invented Cyrillic script based on Greek since orthodoxy was heavily Greek influenced.
Koreans and Japanese and other adiadn surrounding the red giant all used chinese characters. But Japan adapted chinese characters for their own language creating Japanese writing and Koreans invented a whole new script in 1440s because the Korean king thought chinese was too hard and invented a simple easy script.
Most east asians used Chinese language for high levels things since though until a few centuries ago.

But it is very clumsy in writing in Oromo. You literally have holes where you can't actually even properly write certain words you just have to assume and infer from experience and context what is meant.
