Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the Hereafter. Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near Him. Whoever is slow to good deeds will not be hastened by his lineage.”

Recently, multiple disturbing videos have emerged capturing the hateful and Islamophobic harassment of the vendors of Q Halal Cart E 83rd with 2 Ave by Stuart Seldowitz, a former US government official. These videos document multiple instances of Seldowitz's vile verbal assaults, in which he spews insults and threats, invoking violence and prejudice against the vendors. The vendors, visibly shaken and distressed, are seen enduring Seldowitz's relentless tirades, which have rightly sparked outrage and condemnation.

As a community, we cannot stand by and allow such acts of hate to go unchallenged. Seldowitz's actions are not only reprehensible but also a stark reminder of the deep-seated bigotry and intolerance that continues to plague our society.



Our Goal

We are raising funds to support the Adam Halal Food Cart workers who have been targeted by anti-Muslim hate speech and violence. These hard-working individuals are the backbone of our communities, providing delicious and affordable food to New Yorkers from all walks of life. They deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.

Why We Are Raising Funds

In recent weeks, Halal Cart workers have been subjected to a disturbing surge in anti-Muslim abuse and violence. This includes verbal assaults and even threats of deportation and torture. These incidents have left the Halal Cart community feeling scared, vulnerable, and unprotected.

How Your Donation Will Help

Your donation will provide immediate support to the 4 affected Halal Cart workers, including financial assistance to cover lost wages and other costs associated with these attacks.

Note: 100% of the funds are going directly to the workers. 0$ will be taken by the business owners.

No organizations or any other parties will benefit from this fundraising campaign. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference.
