This Go Fund me is for my uncle named Mu'aad Aden. My uncle who your assuming is a much older adult is actually a 3 Year old boy. Yes, a toddler.

He died in my grandfather's (his father) lap during the New Zealand, Christchurch Mass Shooting at Masjid an Nuur.

He was a young and happy little boy who will be dearly missed by his family and relatives.

Please if you can spare anything it will go a long way in helping and healing this distraught family.

I leave with you a picture of Mu'aad.

A three-year-old boy is missing after fleeing from a mosque during a terror attack in New Zealand which killed 49 people today.

Mucad Ibrahim was attending Friday prayers with his father and older brother Abdi Ibrahim when a gunman stormed the al Noor mosque in Christchurch and opened fire on the worshippers.

Mucad reportedly ran from the attacker while his father and brother played dead, but has not been seen since.

His brother Abdi said: 'I got out as fast as I can as everyone was rushing to the door, I've never been scared so much in my life.

'We all rushed to emergency hospital as that's where I thought lots of our friends might be.'

News of the missing three-year-old comes as hundreds of people gathered outside a hospital in New Zealand as they waited for news on their loved ones.

About 200 friends and family of missing victims are reportedly at Christchurch hospital - either by the bedside or waiting for news of loved ones being operated on.

How to Help the Victims of the Christchurch Shootings.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/03/16/world/asia/christchurch-shooting-charities.html

NZ raises $5.1m for victims of Christchurch mosque shootings.

Over $5 million has been raised for victims of the Christchurch terror attacks across three fundraisers.

A Givealittle page has already raised more than $3.4 million - the most ever for a campaign since Givealittle began in 2008 - with more than 49,000 people donating by 11:20am Sunday morning.

More than $109,000 has also been donated to a fundraiser on Everyday Hero, which was set up after the volume of donations caused problems on the Givealittle site.

Both pages were set up by the NZ Council of Victim Support Groups, the government's primary provider of support services for people affected by homicide.

Givealittle page for Christchurch Muslim community raises $3.2 million as donations continue to flood in.

Almost 47,000 people have donated to the mass Givealittle fund set up for the families affected by the Christchurch twin terror attacks, reaching a close $3 million.

The Givealittle fund raiser began on March 15 and has since raised $3,212,983.

A statement on the website says, “We've been overwhelmed with donations - more than we thought possible - and we now need to create more formal processes than would be needed for the much smaller fund we expected this page would create.”

Here's how you can help the victims of the New Zealand terror attacks.

The Muslim crowdfunding site LaunchGood has a fund for the famlies. The money will be distributed by the New Zealand Islamic Information Center.

Toddler with an old soul: Young victim of NZ attack mourned

2000.jpeg

CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand (AP) — He spent just three years on this earth, but in some ways, a friend said, he seemed like an old soul. Before he became the youngest known victim of Christchurch’s mass shooting, 3-year-old Mucaad Ibrahim had possessed an intelligence beyond his years, and an affinity for his elders.

But on Friday, when a gunman stormed into the mosque where Mucaad was sitting with his big brother and father, it was Mucaad’s youth that left him so vulnerable. In the chaos that ensued as people fled from the bullets, the tiny boy became separated from his family. On Sunday, his brother Abdi Ibrahim said that police had confirmed the worst: their beloved little boy was dead

Each of the 50 lives lost in Friday’s senseless barrage of violence at the hands of a white supremacist has left an aching wound across this close-knit city. But the death of Mucaad, with his big brown eyes and sweet smile, has pierced with particular ferocity.

“He’s been loved by the community here,” said Ahmed Osman, a close family friend. “It’s been tough days. It’s been really tough days.”

Mucaad was a joyful, energetic child who always seemed to be laughing, Abdi said. And he was bright, with an affinity for technology. His toy of choice was an iPad.

The toddler impressed Osman with his intelligence. Mucaad seemed to particularly enjoy talking to older people, he said.

“He was very approachable,” Osman said. “He is easygoing to talk to.”

Nearly every Friday at 6 p.m., Mucaad would go to the park not far from the mosque where his life would ultimately end. There, he would watch Abdi play soccer with Osman and their friends. The toddler would stand on the sidelines cheering them on, and kicking a ball of his own along the grass, Osman recalled with a smile.

Mucaad had planned to go to the park, as usual, on Friday evening. He would never get the chance.

That afternoon, he joined Abdi and their father at the Al Noor mosque for Friday prayers. Mucaad was sitting just in front of Abdi, listening to the imam, when a thunder of bullets shattered the peace.

Everyone began to run. Abdi thought his father had Mucaad. In the rush and the crush of people, the trio became separated.

That was the last time Abdi saw his baby brother. After an agonizing search by the family, police confirmed that Mucaad was dead, Abdi said.

On Sunday, Abdi waited at Christchurch’s airport for the arrival of another one of his brothers, Abdifatah Ibrahim, who had been overseas when the massacre occurred. The shooting, Abdi said, still felt like a terrible dream.

“My mum, she’s been struggling,” Abdi said. “Every time she sees other people crying, emotional, she just collapses.”

A few minutes later, Abdifatah emerged through the arrivals gate. He and Abdi wrapped their arms around each other in a tight embrace. And then they went to wait for the release of their little brother’s body so they could lay him to rest, a life ended before it had barely begun.
