Get a degree or learn something of value!

Since more and more of our learned people are returning to Somalia SL and PL included. Having knowledge in certain fields is important, and im talking about mechanical engineering, doctors+nurses, agricultural, technical degrees, software engineering, industrial management etc.

It is better to be one thats is part of helping his country take a giant leap forward, then a foreigner in a country that does not appreciates you or your kind.

Learn something you know is of value, that you know you can make a living of in Somalia and good luck✊🏾

Somalia remembers and loves its warriors, lets be of those it remembers for making it a beautiful and modern place, China was a dump 10-15 years ago look at it now👌🏾 so its possible for us to make the same journey.

And for the love of god learn the language si fiican, i remember a dude who used to say that his cousing from the diaspora was deaf, cause he didnt speak good somali and he didnt want people to clown them😅

A friend of mine graduated from a university here ,
Agrotechnolegy (agriculture and agribusiness) .
He had everything in plan ,flown to Somalia after few months of assessing the situation he managed to secure it, he established acres of land and as time went by he delivered operating machineries instead he was shot dead in his hometown by government soldiers , his imported equipment looted overnight.

I was happy for my cousin when he left South Africa for Ukraine to study, he was a recent graduate from their faculty
radiology " a doctor who specialises imaging tests to diagnose diseases.
I tried to warn him once he graduates not to return to Somalia there is nothing there , He went there and worked at their hospital he died in the Soobe attack , if he had listened to my advice atleast he would be alive and living somewhere in Europe.

A colleague of mine returned , she opened a rice farm in afgooye and was killed for it.

This page would become even longer as many people I know that had repatriated to Somalia aren't alive today.

So I have no intentions of ever returning there sxb , I'm contended to where I am at.

GEELJIRE WITH NO GEEL
It's on Somalis inside Somalia to make it a place safe for investment. Everyone to varying degrees acts in their self-interest. No city has been built on the basis of selflessness.

Copy and pastekaan waa maxay? Its unfortunate, but many have returned and Alhamdullilah things are getting better. Security was an issue but it is getting better day by day. People get shot or knifed and robbed in the west to for iPhones and money, does that mean you shouldnt you move to Japan? Ofcourse there are risks involved but the return is far greater as you could become the next Rockefeller or Ford in Somalia, instead of workig for others in the west. I will return inshaAllah 🙏🏾
