Great news, Gedo already has the highest score on the subnational human development index in terms of all regions in Southern Somalia and as we keep strengthening our security in the region as we've been doing. There's no doubt this region will continue to prosper. There's no reason why JL shouldn't be the best state in the area. We'll have to continue working on development initiatives inshallah.

Towns and cities like Beledhawo, Luuq, Doloow, Garbaharay and Baardheere are safe enough for diaspora return. Security is tight and attacks and bombings rarely happens thanks to the hard works of SNA Gedo and local militias.

Of course it's a very safe region and has been getting only more secure as the JL Darawiish and SNA trainees have been amassing, inshallah I will be visiting soon I'm aware that the past couple weeks there have been non stop rains in the area. I have relatives that have invested a lot of money in bardheere, Gedo specifically and the Lower Jubba region not too far from Kismaayo. I will be advising much of my extended relatives to also start returning and taking the region to the next level. Jubbaland probably has the most potential within Somalia, it's up to us to make sure it reaches it's full potential by setting up goals and projects and progressing towards them with a unitary force.
