This new North African Libyan sample will be really interesting. Us Somalis are mostly Levant Neolithic right? Why are North Africans more Iberomaurisian? Libya is midway so it would be interesting to see where this pastoralist female plots.

It seems North Africans have more Arabian then Horners despite us being geographically closer which can only explained by 7th-11th century Islamic conquest of North Africa
I believe his wife is an outlier as she descends from an Arab tribe, most Somalis carry more Arabian DNA then Moroccans. Libyans and Algerians however usually carry more Arabian DNA, bar the berber tribes

There are Arab tribesmen that are heavily Arab all over the Maghreb

Sudan & NW Africa were Arabized by Bedouin tribes. Which is why the Arabs and those with Arabian DNA tend to come from areas that were attractive to the Bedouin (plains & deserts)

Yes I have seen some North Africans with 35%+ Arabian which is exceptionally high for the region.

Those that identify with actual Arab tribes tend to have significant Arab ancestry. While Arabized Berbers and Berber speakers tend to have little to none.

Is there a list, diagram, or multidimensional scaling chart that shows the comparative results for all clans using G25 coordinates? I know most ethnic Somali cluster very close to each other but I am not sure how close the exact distance is.

Isn't mota baked into Natufian though, they have 6% proto-Omotic ancestry, so I wouldn't classify it as Arabian since that didn't exist back then, I have more Natufian DNA then the average North African and modern-day Arab in the levant.
ignore my take on Arab, didn't see the second one.
Guessing the 9.6% is Yemeni Mahra, think the average is 4-7% on average.

Mota has ANA ancestry.Natufian is a mixture between West Eurasian & ANA.
You are one of many Somalis who lack any Mota ancestry. Are all your grandparents Samarone?
Hebjire on Paternal and Habar Yusif on Maternal, came out 100% on 23&me with T-L208 which is common with Dir, found a lot of T-L208 ancestry on my granny's 23&me results but very little on father's side, mostly E1b1b

The Levantine has their Natufian decrease because of competition with Iran Neolithic, Caucuses HG and Anatolian Neolithic ancestry. Arabia was safe from all that. North Africa had to deal with high EEF and the Horn had to deal with Proto Nilotic ancestry.
Yo @Garaad Awal isn’t the Berber component mix of IBM and EEF?
