loooooool! I promise you I didn't scream, curse, or raise my voice. I didn't lose my manners cuz then this would make me look like the "angry black woman" and no one will take me seriously. Also I didn't want to look like an ass, since the convo was being recorded.

I do believe so. However after listening to my recording, there are areas in need for improvement. While my demeanor was perfect, and my manners were great, my words could have been more eloquent and my argument could have been more structured. For my first serious argument with authority, I think I did ok. I am reflecting tho, and planning to build up my argumentative skills

Oh by the way, do keep in mind, in the Corporate world, and the same applies to academia, it is never whether one is right, or not, but with whom power rests. With your being the student, the chips are stacked against you, so tread carefully, and smartly. Be cognisant of your peg on the hierarchy.
