For sure. They most likely suffer from PTSD.

TL; DW - but so far here’s the gist

1. Voluntarily takes her 6 & 8 yr old children to Somalia.
2. Leaves them behind voluntarily with her ex- husband who previously displayed strong psychopathic traits.
3. 2 mos into the stay, can’t get hold of her children.
4. Takes no action for another 2 months of no contact before her son calls & says dad won’t allow us to talk to you & she’s blocked.
5. Strangely decides Facebook live as her first course of action, which went viral.
6. Continues FB live rants/begging assistance from somaliweyn lol.
7. Finally flies to Somalia but confronts him alone, gets beat up and thrown out.

I can’t listen to it any longer but she’s one hella weak typical xalimo. From the sound of it it took her 5 yrs to actually physically fly back to Somalia which by then her children were 13 & 11. She said she waited to take any legal action because she didn’t want to make things worst lol. Apparently at one point her children were even begging her to come get them and at times were left alone while her ex was away in Cairo, and instead of flying in quietly and scooping them up…she sought permission from her ex & prayed their relationship would improve lol. She thinks ranting on Facebook is a powerful tool lol. She sacrificed her children as a disguised attempt to reconcile with her ex & it back fired. No empathy!​

I understand where you are coming from but context matters. Auntie has been through war, rape and also diswoned by her family ( which was not her fault). She is not a diaspora born xaliimo who is dumb and gullible. I feel bad for her and hope she gets justice. Just pray for her
