Wouldn’t that be better translated as“the one who milks (animals) is black, yacni his complexion is dark due to being out in the sun?.

Amazing, though, never knew Somalis had lullaby praising black skin tone. “We waznt black” though.

Black skin tone doesnt equal racially identifing with blackness.. know the difference. The first is given by allah and the second is given by European colonizers and later made worldwide due to Eurocentrisim ideas and views being to influential
