Suugo Science! He is 6ft 9 and a109kg. That is a genetic freak. Somalis become slow and ponderous when they hit over 6ft 3. People whose ancestors came from the Biafra Coast( West Africa) have the genetic advantage of having more fast twitch fibres and being able to generate speed while carrying a lot of weight. A 6ft 9, 109 kg farax would be a walking lamppost.
Then why aeen't moee people from Biafra Coast in the NBA?

Well, that is where most of the slaves came from. They have probably produced 99% of Olympic100 metre medalists in the last 30 years.
Meanwhile, the Kenyan Kalenjin tribe and the Ethiopian highlanders account for nearly all long distance medals. We have more slow twitch fibres, smaller skeletal frames suited to long distance running, more suitable environment etc........
Faraxs can make it to the NBA. However, they will need to have a phenomenal skill-set or some kind of niche skill (like Larry Burns shooting). If you are skilled , but the AA also possess this and are faster/stronger than you, they will get picked ahead of you 9/10.

Yes Somali men aren't really good at sports. They're decent at running at best .You rarely see one in the Olympics or any other major league.
Most Somali guys I grew up with we’re good at sports. The point is: it’s not about being good. It’s about being excellent. The difference between an elite level athlete and a very good athlete is minuscule. Chinese are generally active in most sports but there is only a few of them in the NBA because their mostly too short. Somali fellows can make it in the NBA but they would have to better skilled than most opponents in order to compensate for their competitive disadvantage when it comes to speed and power. They could also start weight training earlier to gain more muscle mass. We can also produce a genetic freak farax.
BTW, Somalis and East African athletes are quick speaking in relative terms. Mo Farah has an incredible sprint over the last 200 metres. He beats the average person over 200m even after running for 100. We, like most other populations, just aren’t as quick as people of West African decent.
Different groups are also suited to different events. Somalis would probably make better swimmers than West Africans.
