A strong fire broke out in Jigjiga Market​

Somali region battles to control massive fire in Jigjiga city’s major commercial district

Efforts are ongoing to control a massive fire that broke out in Jigjiga city, the capital of Somali regional state, in a shopping district housing commonly known as the New Taiwan Market. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Local media, Somali Fast Info., reported that efforts are currently underway to control the fire by coordinated efforts involving emergency prevention teams, security forces and medical professionals who are working together to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the city.

Me and Puntitequeen have predicted this after deep discussions around our lack of building code-standards, they are built with very little quality or safety standards. PL has had many fires because they don't regulate the electricity companies and their standards nor any inspectors.

They just build-build-build and then it just self-destructs

I don't think they moved Garacad more in-land in it's town-plan. It's indian ocean is known for tsunamis and the coastline expanding in-land, which will have devastating effects in the future. Only the future will honor dr osman not my peers when it happens.
