Where is the Somali film industry. All I see is amateurs except for that school series that was popular in Somalia for a while.

Why don't Somalia produce a figure like Brucle Lee? Why do we let the yahuudi media marchine / Hollywood, to define a global image for Somali people. We know these people hate Somalis so obviously they will create media to tarnish our national image. But unlike other states we don't create media yo counter thr narrative painted by foriegners.

That being said its very easy to produce well made films on a cheap budget it just need a artistic mind and good actors.

We don't need tax payers or anything of the like to create a film industry. Although government help would be nice to groom it like south Korea. But all it takes is a couple good filmmakers that got enough lacag to run studios and produce shit.

Enough of them is all we need for Somalia

I agree. There’s definitely a market there for it. Look at how people back home watch Turkish + Arab shows, they don’t understand a word but they’re still hooked.

You can use it as propaganda too. I’m convinced all these shows from turkiga and masr caused the bleaching epidemic.

Have shows talking about real life situations e.g. a well-liked character ends up getting murdered over his qabiil.
