Raise goods above. Food, oil, electricity and medical supplies are exempt

Garguute wants a unified tax rate for all these products across all the ports. It's one of the agendas of the next meeting. Ain't happening as far as it concern us. He can raise all the taxes he wants in Xamar tho.

War ana dhaaf adigu Debbie Downer kaa tahay cune. Somalia will eventually unite and build a unified country with same laws and customs where the FGS will control any point of entry. Nothing your inkaar can do about it.

We need to have unified tax code it shouldn’t be race to bottom with prices which will only benefit Ethiopia.

best thing about war in 70s it made weakened Ethiopia landlocked

guys its none of my business but if you really want my opinion most of the generated tax will go into the pockets of the politicians unless theres a mechanism to prevent the money from getting looted this move will hurt the average Somali
Part of this move is demanded by the IMF so Somalia can fund its government without any budgetary support. It’ll be accompanied by austerity on public expenditure too. We have to prove we can balance the books so in the end these reforms are a good thing even despite the obvious problems with corruption.
