- PL signed 2018 agreement by Abdiweli Gaas which stated that Federal government will take 55% of offshore oil income and 100% of taxes.
- PL took their share of the money that Shell/Exxon paid for oil blocks lease in 2018 as per the sharing agreement.

The Political Class is making deals without consulting the civilians.

Have you guys noticed that there is no mention as to how the money will be spent in terms of public services? Instead all the focus is on how the companies and the Governments will split the cost.

True, there should be agreements on how to spend the money if we find oil like on education, health and infrastructure, otherwise they will use it to buy votes if we move on to 1m1v and enrich themselves.

It's not his cut though, it belongs to PL and has an obligation to increase that cut if necessary, reports are saying that Deni has reached an agreement with HSM where 2008 Baydhabo agreement will be changed to increase FMS' share, PL will also start seismic surveys soon.

We have to. The oil craze is coming to an end. We have to profit before it’s too late. Hopefully it’s a good deal and the money is used wisely

I’m hearing Deni is going to get FGS support for 2025 term extension and get a cut out of the oil agreement. A lot has changed since the Garowe visit where Deni was upset HSM ignored him when it came to PM appointment, Cabinet etc. same with LG with Roobow. LG is getting 3 more years without an election then Roobow takes over. I expect similar deals have been behind closed doors deals have struck between Deni And HSM but we shall see. I always said if Deni wants to cooperate with HSM he’ll have a strong partner and can get extension plus re-election.

I think term extensions can't be decided in these kind of meetings, first they've to do that in their parliaments and most of them already did, Deni will not do that at least for now, otherwise it will jeopardize 1m1v elections.
On the oil negotiations, most of the states want to renegotiate 2008 Baydhabo agreement so that each state gets more instead of only 35%, and lastly the security issue and how to liberate the land from UGUS.
