Tribalism, Federalism and corruption are the misfortunes that gloomed the unity and trust of Somali people, sadly Somalinimo is not perceptible in the current Somali social and political platforms rather empty exaggeration, decorated flags and praise songs for clan states are overwhelmingly sweeping off the nationalism and united Somalia, no one senses the ownership of Somaliweyn anymore while Clan superiority, egos and discrimination are taking impetus in the minds of many of today’s Somali generation; it’s so painful to see that hatred, ill-contention and oppression are on the rise. Miserably, Tribalism is deeply diving into the politics and dividing Somali society into a level where Somalweyn is depicted as an interest of certain clans. Clans will be more contented to see the failure of Somalia governance or will not feel the ownership unless the head of the state belong to their Sub-clan (#Jufo-ciii), same happens even within clan/regional states. If you look the so called Somali elites (cuqaal, aqoonyahan, siyaasi) everyone is either lobbying for clan/state interest or promoting international agendas( the interest of foreign countries), minor issues are getting major attention while major issues getting zero attention

Federalism are either ill fitted to our Somali context or it has being misinformed by the tribalists(Qawlaysato), may be those who brought Federalism in the first place anticipated that it will bring fair devolution and transfer of power to Somali people but unfortunately it resulted further oppression, abuses and discrimination within localities, more people are angry and complaining any time before. Moreover constant disagreement and disputes blurred the power lines between the federal and regional states as each faction refer their right in to the constitution through translating and exerting on their own interest and words, Some of the states are already performing the work of national government and feel comfortable so rather going through national/federal government. Furthermore, each locality does not focus on their internal de affairs but rather gets busy on commenting and pointing fingures to the loopholes and weakness of others. Of course undeniable external interest and invisible hands are fueling the flame but all the blames have to go to Somalis themselves

More upsetting, corruption and misuse of national resources with highest level of impunity is a special credit and status that every leader aims and enjoys. leaders’ performance are evaluated on how smart, brave and overconfident they are in the misuse of national property and promote clan/group agenda, leaders will be ashamed for not saving enough privately during their occupation in the national sit, practice of nepotism, tribalism and favoritism is sign of manhood and power. This ruthless behavior of our today’s leaders left Somali youth, mothers and children in to unending pain, and discomfort, their anticipation of better life and better Somalia is diminishing, enemy is taking advantage in our weakness and today we are all kneeing down to our enemy begging their help, our future are in their hands and they are playing our minds by sending us Sambuus Afargees to get their support, our dignified mother and girls are raped or abused cheaply, our natural resources are freely exploited, our few educated youth are either died in mediterranean sea as they were finding better life or sitting streets demoralized and unemployed.

federalism will be gone when the South invades the "mother" of federalism and the "mother" of the secessionist.

What do you mean by that?

This is the greatest time to be Somali period.

Focus on the Gobols, the real work is on a micro (Gobol) not a macro (Somalia). There's an incredible amount of effort needed to build every facet of Somalia but people would rather talk about problems and point fingers instead of executing. We have people who are unemployed wearing dress shirts and suits laughing at people who are wearing hard hats and holding tools--this is every Gobol.

The main fear every clan has; once left alone they will realize they can't do it alone.
