If you want to marry someone with no kids than do that. Nothing wrong with that. There are some dudes that don’t really care about that issue.I am just curious on why step fathers are getting slandered for being father figure for kids that have deadbeat dads.

We are all somali. Our community has a high divorce rate. There are going to be single mothers available for marriage. It’s unavoidable to be some type of role model or father figure for the children of a single mother your with.

This distant relative of mine came to town, he is a truck driver. Dude called me and said he wanted me to pick him up. The guy asked me to take him to his ex wife’s home so he can retrieve his child to spend time with him (he doesn’t live here). Dude told me that ex is away and she allowed him to pick his kids up. We got there and I went inside with him because I know the chick when went inside I was greeting the children and I casually said “who’s with you guys “ and little girl replied “apti Ali. He is sleeping upstairs “ The mother ain’t married

With me it’s just too much baggage to be raising a next niggas kid, just go find a siil with no problems attached to it! If you are going to have kids make sure its with the right girl so this divorce shit doesn’t happen. My kids will sleep under the same roof as me till they’re young adult age . I don’t care if me and my wife fall out of love I’m not letting another man raise my kids. My wife and I can live under the same roof till the kids are of age and then we can go our separate ways if we don’t like eachother anymore

Fun fact my old co worker was married 10 years with a truck driver. She cheated on him all those years. They are divorced but she has never fully told him she cheated on him. She moved on she is with a new guy but her ex still hits her up.

What I don’t understand is single mothers marrying bums, and spending the child support money they receive from the ex husband on the bum she recently married. How are you going to give this bum the money intended for your children.

Let me give you some context. In Northern Somalia/now known as Somaliland, marrying a woman that was previously married was frowned upon (it was even worse if she had kids) this was beri hore. In this case, the woman had her child out of wedlock yet Mo Farah married her (in their eyes that's even worse). However, he might be Somali ethnically but he acts more like a madow urban raised British National (they don't mind wifing babby mommas). He wasn't raised by his hooyo. And his twin brother was back home. Probably brought up by relatives that didn't keep a close eye on him. But at least he's successful.
