Why wasn't the company properly vetted beforehand ?
Most of Farmaajo cabinet members consist of diaspora EX-cab drivers like him, I highly doubt they know anything beside Welfare scamming and taxi route fare, it is unfortunate but it is the truth.

Good for him for canceling the deal, these companies need to be vetted to make sure exploitation will not occur once drilling actually takes place

Not true there are many qualified people in the government.
