There has to be a balance to that shit. In my opinion, you shouldn't be sending her flowers, etc to her on weekly basis. You gotta do it when she isn't expecting it or had bad week. You shouldn't be showering her with materialism and if you're smart, you shouldn't even date or marry materialistic women(for the males). A lot of these relationships are so fake and cringy. Men with good jobs marry women for their looks, so they simp out by showering these women with goodies.
What will happen in six years when you lose your job or you accept a lower salary? Is she going to be alright with that or will your marriage/relationship start to have problems?

I think it depends on the individual, everyone has a different love language for some its receiving gifts, for others it may be words of affirmation. Even if you get a lower paying job you can just switch up the type of gifts and frequency you get them.
