I agree, I think everyone here is aware of how I feel about Tate, but this theory is too far-fetched tbh. People routinely have different views to their friends.
Don’t get your hopes up about the interview. It is clear that what initially made him interested in Islam is purely about the fact that he feels Islam controls women and that men tend to have the upper hand. Also, I just know that when they talk about the issues of the West, most of those issues and the culprits in their eyes will be women and that is why Muslim men love him. They validate their misogyny and now it has become evident that this isn’t an ‘incel’ issue. Even our men in the Dawah circles have fully embraced this mentality. In their world view, women are very much the culprits, the destructors and the shaytans of society.
I hope that since converting, he now has a real appreciation for Islam and that the spirit of Islam isn’t one of oppression or arrogance. That can only be achieved though if he is around men with integrity, but something tells me that the men he is around simply feed his views and will use Islamic misinterpretations and twists to justify his glaring controversies.
