Men will obviously not see an educated woman as a personal threat, but redpill misogynists definitely do see educated women as a class a threat to society as they tend to marry later, and are much more likely to up and leave if they are in marriages they deem unhappy in due to the ability to support themselves upon divorce. Women with any form of options is an issue with some men, as it allow women to live life the way they want to which challenges male control. They see that as detrimental to society.

Furthermore, educated women tend to want men just as accomplished if not more than them, which is an issue for men who are not, as the more educated women there are, the less women they can get with as many women are willing to stay single rather than settle. Also, if as a man you've been raised to believe that you're physically and mentally superior to a woman, but you see on a day to day basis women that are more intelligent and financially successful, it can have an impact on some men's egos. But you're right. They are not threatened in the classical sense, the way men are threatened by other men.

I’d probably disagree on the part that educated women are more likely to date and marry men who are just as if not more educated and successful.

Being educated ≠ being smart.

There are tons of stupid women who would settle with a bum and take care of him only to divorce 5 years later and the talk about it on twitter and how they hate bummy men so much lol.

Also, most educated men don’t really care about the education level of a spouse when looking for someone to date. So it just puts them at a disadvantage. I know a family-friend who graduated from university of waterloo (an extremely well-known university for producing engineers and computer scientists) and works at microsoft and married a woman who didn’t even finish college.

the only time you see two educated people married is if they went to the same college or grad school and met there or through alumni.

I’m all for women getting a higher education, for the good reasons like just being successful, making more money, and being all around smarter. It just seems stupid to be getting an education and then reducing to how much it affects you in the dating market. I also think going to college is stupid and a waste of time if and only if you’re not planning on becoming an engineer, doctor, pharmacist, researcher, scientist or an academic.

Too many people get a bachelor when they majored in dance and think that’ll get them anywhere. I’m not even joking lol, a girl in my grade went to college to major in dance
