Facebook members dealing with an insane amount of friend requests

It is getting out of hand, on average now I have one person adding me every minute or so, are you guys experiencing such new phenomen also? the funny thing is they are all Somali Halimos and Faraxs and bunch of Nigerians scamming with their teeth.

It looks like my FB friends are also dealing with this bizarre purge and the question is where is everyone one coming from ?

Bro I am close to 5k and these ppl are obviously on a scam mode, I was even approached by few Somalis scamming as Sheiks, never knew we had Somali scammers online untill yesterday.

I got this last year before I deleted my Facebook account.Everyday I was getting 3 to 5 friend requests even from top Somali politicians and sheikhs. I thought they were bots but they were sending me messages lol.

Facebook in 2020?. No young person uses that still that social media site anymore. Delete that app my man. Its mainly used by boomers these days. When my uncle who lives all the way in Sudan sent me a friend request like two years ago before I deleted all of my social media I knew it was time to ghost and delete that app LOL.

I came across this one Ethiopian fob guy in 2013 on FB who wrote on his bio that he was a "successful businessman" living in Ohio, he sent me a friend request and after I accepted it he kept spamming me on my messenger about a "business purposal" that he wanted to promoted, it sounded like a genuine and interesting idea until he said that if I wanted to jump on board with this "idea" of his, I needed to send him like 700 dollars LOL.

Oh boy, not only I did block his scamming ass, I was pretty happy about it too.
