Our homogeneity helped us but even if you look deeply we never massacred minority clans, what’s happening in Sudan is beyond wildI genuinely don't understand how things got so bad in Sudan, its worse than Somalia at this point
AUN to all victims of this tragic war
I hate how the UAE is blatantly prolonging this war by supporting RSF. Its pure evil regardless of their aims. Our homogeneity helped us but even if you look deeply we never massacred minority clans, what’s happening in Sudan is beyond wild
Same reason we never enslaved each other despite constant war. We are Somali, so there's certain things to war between the clans that never happenI genuinely don't understand how things got so bad in Sudan, its worse than Somalia at this point
AUN to all victims of this tragic war
notorious militia rsf who commited the darfur genocide was incoporated in the civil government after their dictator fell but they decided they actually wanted to be in control of the government so they fallen out with the rest of susan’s military, they have uae backing as well as the gold mines they thought the government would fall easily, and their mission as they say is that they are fighting islamists,I’m not up to date on Sudan what’s the crux of the issue over there somebody explain
Our homogeneity helped us but even if you look deeply we never massacred minority clans, what’s happening in Sudan is beyond wild

Nah 91 still tops it as the worst conflict to occur on the African continent, you know I sat with my hooyo a couple days ago and she recounted the events that took place, absolutely frightening. Our homogeneity helped us but even if you look deeply we never massacred minority clans, what’s happening in Sudan is beyond wild
to this day the barwaani community has ptsd and marry off to their cousins, because of the mass rape and forced marriage that was inflicted on them, they couldn’t even hide in the mosquesNah 91 still tops it as the worst conflict to occur on the African continent, you know I sat with my hooyo a couple days ago and she recounted the events that took place, absolutely frightening.
one example, she was in Merca one afternoon, in the process of fleeing and this ayeeyo she knew who sold khaad in the suuq goes up to one of her customers who has lets say a “running tab” (hasn’t paid for his khaad). This fellow is an out and out mooryan, idk if he was with Morgan or Aidiid but he’s armed he’s dangerous, she scolds this bloke severely, after she’s done she walks away, as she’s walking away from him, he aims his gun and shoots her in the back, waits a few mins, she’s rolling around in pain and screaming, covered in blood. Then he shoots again, point blank, back of the head, and walks off.
what strikes me is the cruelty he’s meted out to this ayeeyo who’s probably old enough to be his hooyo, the viciousness. He doesn’t give her a quick death, even though to kill unarmed civilians is reprehensible enough, he’s methodical, cruel, to his own kin.
with that in the back of my head, I can’t help but wonder how can Somalis ever reach a consensus and treat each other fairly, forget agreeing with each other, at the very least they oughta respectfully disagree on things, but they’re too hot headed and prone to violence, this is a trait common amongst all Somalis regardless of clan or status.
I want to know what created this mooryan no naxriis mindset with some of these guys. It’s like a switch was flipped in to a lot of people’s headsNah 91 still tops it as the worst conflict to occur on the African continent, you know I sat with my hooyo a couple days ago and she recounted the events that took place, absolutely frightening.
