Every Somali needs to move back home in order to win online debates

The amount of times I have seen my somali brothers and sisters online defending us from random nacas racists just to be hit with "I bet you don't live in Somalia" and so many times unfortunately they win. Now I am on the cadaan guys side. I will never debate a racist online unless I am back home.

I agree with moving back for learning more culture because there is only so much somali cultural knowledge you can gain online in the west before it all becomes sparce and in afsomali and eventually nonexistant outside the circles in the country that it relates to. Think about it if your career is one that AI can easily replace, what value does it bring in the long run? Many young Americans are already rethinking their choices some are skipping college to start small businesses like landscaping. But even that market is overcrowded due to heavy competition. The same thing is happening across industries self-driving trucks will eventually disrupt the trucking sector, and many college degrees no longer guarantee stability or financial security. Owning a home is becoming less attainable, and people are being pushed out of the system by sheer economics.

That’s why it’s important to have options. If you have a college education, skills, or trades, those can be far more impactful in Somalia than staying stuck in a cycle of diminishing opportunities abroad. Real development doesn’t come from foreign NGOs or outside businesses it comes from the contributions and determination of the local and diaspora communities. Our society can only be fixed by us, not outsiders. I truly think @Kisame is not Somali he has a lot of anti Somali advice
