This is an attempt to slow down the rapid development of infrastructure in the state. The previous president prioritised development of infrastructure and placed everything else to the side. The man wanted to develop the region quickly first by any means necessary, weather it’s public health, institutions, education, infrastructure and security all whilst slowly organising an army that’s well equipped and finally when it’s time give Ethiopia the middle finger and say this is Ogadenia not Ethiopia. He wanted to do this within the span of 14 years (2 terms of his rule) He was so happy when china started to drill for oil in the state, he went to meet ONLF officials and said to them look guys our land is free I want to develop our land put down the weapons and join me we can work things out, ONLF said to him the Ethiopians want a sum of our oil revenue and they told the world that ONLF should be added to the worlds terrorist organisations list while at the same time claiming our land as theirs, there’s no way in hell we agree with what you just told us. He left them there the boy was very impatient by the way he didn’t know that china was the enemy of USA, and USA didn’t want china consuming Ogaden gas but USA was also a friend of ONLF who were opposed to him and the Ethiopian government.
