Reports of Ethiopia's top general landing in Garoowe, Puntland. Welcomed warmly by Puntland locals. Puntland does not need Ethiopian troops. It has done well by itself. I think this is because of Hamza becoming the PM of Somalia. Ethiopia has also built a huge base in Baidoa. It already has bases in West Gedo. They hope to expand to Jubbaland and removed president Ahmed Madoobe.

Ethiopian forces helped Farmaajo capture Gedo region using the military control they have over northern Dawa region.
